The Funk Parade returns to the U Street Corridor of Washington, DC on Saturday May 7th, 2016. The third annual Funk Parade will be the biggest and best yet, and Qdup has put together an awesome mix to get you ready to ROLL YOUR FUNK! It includes a premier of the forthcoming Fort Knox Five tune “Don’t Go featuring Joe Quarterman”, a brand new tune made in the spirit of the Funk Parade by two of DC’s finest. Be sure to listen carefully for some funky Public Service Announcements from Rare Essence, Kokayi, Rufus Roundtree, Mustafa Akbar, Empresarios & Congo Sanchez throughout the mix.
